Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, have the authority to bind the agency or business you represent, and use the Service for lawful purposes only.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
• You may invite team members; you remain responsible for their actions

3. Subscription and billing

Roster operates on a monthly subscription basis. Plans are billed in advance via Stripe in GBP.

• Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled
• You may cancel any time from Settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are at our discretion. Pro-rata refunds are not standard policy.
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice; existing subscribers keep their original price for at least one renewal cycle
• VAT is added to UK prices at the standard 20% rate

4. Free trial

New accounts get a 14-day free trial. No payment information is required to start. After the trial, your account becomes read-only until you choose a plan.

5. Your data and content

You retain all rights to the data you upload (creator information, photos, campaign history, etc.). You grant us a limited licence to process this data only to provide the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload creator data — including obtaining consent from creators where required by UK GDPR.

You may export your data at any time. On account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days (except billing records, which we keep 6 years per HMRC).

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others
• Upload illegal content, including content infringing intellectual property
• Misrepresent creator data, fabricate metrics, or knowingly mislead brand partners
• Resell, sublicense, or re-host the Service without our permission
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attack the Service
• Use the Service in a way that breaches the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) rules, including misrepresenting paid partnerships

7. Third-party platforms

Roster integrates with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Snapchat, Bluesky, and Stripe. Your use of these integrations is also subject to those platforms' own terms. We are not responsible for changes to their APIs or pricing.

8. Intellectual property

The Roster name, logo, software, and design are our property. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service while your subscription is active.

9. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or temporary suspensions when necessary. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under UK law (such as fraud, death, or personal injury).

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, with reasonable notice where practical.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app at least 14 days before taking effect.
